As early as the 1930s, the Lockenhaus Tourist and Beautification Association built a small bathing facility in the storage area of the mill on the Günsbach, which was revived in the 1950s. Then in 1965-67 the swimming pool was built and ceremoniously opened in June 1967.
The outdoor swimming pool Lockenhaus is located on the outskirts of the village. It has a 500 m2 pool, a children's pool, a water slide, air bubbles and an island with a climbing net, as well as a 10,000 m2 sunbathing lawn with an attached bathing buffet. A solar heating system heats the bathing water to a temperature of about 25 degrees.
