St. Martin's Day has always been a special festival in Burgenland and is associated with many traditions revolving around culinary delights and wine. In Neckenmarkt, several enjoyable wine and culinary events are on the programme for the weekend before Martinmas. Especially the hike through the gently rolling vineyards with magnificent vantage points and wine tasting is an autumnal highlight.
FRIDAY, November 15, 2024
- 7 pm: Martini Open-Air
Open-air with live music by "in vino veriBrass" and rustic dinner in the guest garden of the Gasthof Zur Traube.
SATURDAY, November 16, 2024
- 10 a.m.: WineSteinWeg hike
Meeting point at the Vinothek, followed by a hike along the WeinSteinWeg through the Neckenmarkter Weingebirge including wine tasting and delicacies at 2 stops. - 7 pm: Goose degustation menu
