The Apple Culinarium takes place from October 22 to 27, 2024, daily from 9 am to 5 pm.
Direct marketers and organic farmers from Burgenland offer their specialties, including fruit trees and a wide variety of culinary products. There is an apple market with old varieties and numerous culinary stations. Children can press apple juice, take part in a stamp rally and visit the play stations in the castle moat. The festival offers a colorful entertainment program, expert lectures and many apple specialties as well as other farm products such as cheese, bacon, chestnuts, Uhudler and much more. Dogs are not allowed inside the castle or in the exhibition areas.
Offers for small groups and individuals
From Tuesday to Sunday (9:00-16:00) there is the opportunity to take part in guided apple tastings. Old regional varieties are presented and tasted. The tasting takes place in small groups with a maximum of 15 people. The program lasts approx. 40 minutes and costs € 5.
ADMISSION
The visit and the lectures are free of charge from Tuesday to Friday.
At the weekend there is a large organic farmers' and craft market, admission costs €5.
