Four soloists from the ranks of the Vienna Philharmonic and an exceptional pianist combine their phrasing skills and virtuosity to create a unique musical world in which old and new merge. In addition to the classical-virtuoso line, the ensemble embarks on a fascinating journey through a wide variety of epochs and styles. This time, the rhapsodic element is at the heart of their program at the Liszt Festival: from Liszt to Enescu to Gershwin, the musicians around philharmonic "veteran" Tibor Kováč dedicate themselves to this unique genre with consummate mastery.
