Blaufränkischland
The winery is located in the heart of the Blaufränkischland in the best locations of the southeastern slopes of the Ödenburger Mountains. Favored by the mild climate, excellent wines thrive on our vineyards, with 80% of the vineyards devoted to red wine (Blaufränkisch, Zweigelt, Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot) and 20% to white wine (Grüner Veltliner, Welschriesling, Chardonnay).
Quality
Conscious quantity reduction in the vineyards and uncompromising quality orientation in the cellar result in strong, full-bodied red wines and fruity white wines. The red and white wines of the winery are vinified in the classic way as well as in barrique in oak barrels to reach a harmonious maturity. The modern cellar technology and the biological acid reduction guarantee wines of unique purity and durability.
Awards
The way of the winery to press the best wine for you has already been honored with many awards, such as Falstaff 2000 among the 30ig best with Zweigelt 1999, Vinum Red Wine Cup 1999 with the winning wine Cabernet Sauvignon 1997, Salon 1998 with Pinot Noir Barrique 1996 and Falstaffsortenieger 1995 with Blaufränkisch Barrique 1993. In addition, our wines were rewarded with further Falstaff awards in the years 1994-1998.
