Veronika, Johannes and Florian Mutschlechner have been running the Weidehof am Windenegg as a sideline business since 2001. The production line includes grassland farming, arable farming, forestry and last but not least pasture farming.
As every year, the joy of the arrival of the 'goslings' is great, there is a total grazing area of 25,000 m2 in the hilly southern Burgenland. The geese are examined 3 times by a veterinarian and due to the good health condition no medication is given. Due to the large area available to the geese, they are on the move all day, therefore they accumulate little fat and their meat is characterized by a special tenderness.
