Friedensburg Schlaining Castle is located on the outskirts of Stadtschlaining in southern Burgenland and was first mentioned in 1271. The conference center with seminar and meeting rooms for up to 250 people was built on the ruins of the outer castle bastion and the granary in 1986. The former smithy and armory of Schlaining Castle are now home to the Burghotel Schlaining.
